please ,i would like you to read before commenting ...this may be your own story...


may be this happened to you...may be not..
.
i have some friends from Asia...let's say...china...and..they told me how sad they feel..because they love art..they likes to make art and draw...(always in secret)..
but their parents does not want them to follow a career on arts or similar...and when their parents discover they did some art...they got pissed off with them : (..
they feel so depressed..(some want to dissapear...yeah you may see statistics from suicide on china and some other asian countries.. )....well..i know...parents always wants the best from us..
because they love us..
here my advice goes...
for parents: please support your children!!
they will thank you that forever and ever..
it is always good to listen to them..and to be strict with them...
sometimes we want orientation..and we want some advices...but we would like support to follow our dreams..
i know it is difficult and many other people are trying to follow the same way...but if we dont try...how can we know ?
if you are someone who want to follow a dream
please...i would beg you to just be patient..
some people finished a career..other than arts and they tried arts once they found some time...
they felt better
i know..one day we all will have to find our own ways..and we will find a BF/GF and we will marry and have children...
so we will find in the end the best for us.
never give up!
never ever dare to say "i cannot do this or that"
you all should try at least once.. (only if its good ok? ..i dont want you to smoke or do silly stuff)
i mean , we all should try to follow our dreams!
try arts...try food we never tried before..
and never give up
here on DA we can find many people who can help us..many tutorials...many many things..
if you need some help on something you may send me note...and i will be glad to help you.. (other than stuff answered on my FAQ ok? : )
we are here to help...
and to share.

Amazing picture and amazing words of wisdom, Black Mago. :] I agree full-heartedly with what you are saying and my heart goes out to everyone who is facing obsticles inbetween they and their dreams.

God created you with a dream and purpose in mind. Make the dream and purpose apart of you. Then make yourself apart of that dream and purpose. I believe that each of us has a dream placed in the heart. I'm talking about a vision deep inside that speaks to the very soul. It's the things we were born to do. It draws on our talents and gifts. It appeals to our highest ideals. It sparks our feelings of destiny. It is inseparably linked to our purpose in life. The dream starts us on the success journey. Parents and everyone else need to realize that for themselves- and for those around them.

Y tienes razón, aquí en DA también he encontrado gente que realmente dibuja/pinta/crea cosas increíbles y que siempre están dispuestos a ayudar y compartir lo que saben con los demás. Eso es lo más admirable de todo.

I think that dreaming is the most beautiful thing we have as humans... because this allow us to believe that anything is possible, and certainly we can do whatever we want. But.. sometimes there is people that doesn't want to see our dreams come true, sometimes because they just want to protect us (without knowing how sad they make us)... and other times because they are frustrated. Some people say that nothing is possible, and that you have to accept whatever you can do now. I think is the opposite, we can do whatever we want, but that doesn't means that is going to be easy... It's hard to make a dream come true, but living with passion is better than living dissapointed of life just waiting for the end. (Sorry if this is too long... and my english sucks a little XD)

This is so beautiful. So detailed and with such a gorgeous choice of colours. :heart: I love it very, very much.
And regarding the story that inspired you to paint this, I must say that I'm the lucky one. I have parents who support me in my decisions and are happy that I have something like art in my life. Every day I think about how lucky I am and my heart is warmed by gratitude.
I heard a few stories and know a few people whose parents didn't let them to follow their dreams. I just wanted to say to those parents how wrong that is and how (while beliving that what they were doing is good for their children) they actually hurt them. :(
